Art Gala
Awaji Creative Collective – Youth Art Gala 2024 represents Pasona’s latest initiative to contribute to the revitalization of the island. Our goal is to cultivate and showcase artistic talent from Japan.
This event is free and is dedicated to showcasing and celebrating students’ art from both Japan and worldwide. The primary objective is to harness the transformative power of painting, digital art and photography to inspire the dreams and creativity of young students. Simultaneously, the Art Gala aims to promote a cultural appreciation for the diverse array of global cultures and lifestyles. The Art Gala consist of two main moments:
– The Art Competition: where students will submit their own original art pieces online
– The Exhibition: where the selected pieces and the Top winners from each category will be displayed in Awaji island, Japan.

Eligibility Criteria
- Age: 12 – 17
- Enrolled in a recognized School
- Open to anyone living in Japan
Judging
The artworks will be judged by a panel of Eminent Artists from Japan and abroad from June 8th to June 13th, 2024.
Exhibition period
The winning paintings (within Japan) will be shipped to Awaji island, the cost of which will be borne by Awaji Creative Collective. The digital art and photographs will be printed in high quality and framed.
The exhibition will be held on Awaji Island, Japan. The Event details will be announced shortly.

The exhibition will be held in Craft Circus Restaurant between June 28 – 30, 2024.

As part of the Gala all participants will be able to join for FREE online workshops about various topics.

- Potential to display the art piece during the Osaka World Expo 2025, as part of the Pasona pavilion.
- Ownership: The ownership of the artwork after the submission, sales of merchandise will be Pasona.
Pasona has the publishing and displaying rights of art.
